"WHAT IS IT THAT FUELS YOU?"

Questions I've been asked by many and my answer remains same - "if you're passionate about something, you won't consider your work as a task".
Ever since I was a child, I was deeply passionate about animals. I wanted to do something for the species in danger, but couldn't, making me switch to different roles, from casting producer to a photographer to a graphic designer to concept artist but couldn't find solace.
Now, how did a photographer/graphic designer/concept artist turned into a wildlife illustrator! It all started in 2018 when I heard the news of a northern white male rhinoceros taking its last breath. His name was Sudan. This turned out to be the turning point in my life.
After reading that news, I asked myself a question, we sure know that there are rhinoceros but do we know why they are important, do we know them any better?

That day I decided to leave everything and dedicated my life to wildlife. I knew it was my calling.
Since then, I have been educating people through my art about the plight we (in)directly have been imposing on wildlife.

I started my journey with this painting of Sudan as a tribute to the species we have lost because of the ignorance we have towards wildlife.
My main objective is to educate people and to create a platform where we can join our hands together to take a step forward towards conservation. That is something that we can accomplish by knowing them better.

ECLIPSE COLLECTION
What is the Eclipse Collection?
Before we discuss the Eclipse Collection, we must know what Mass Extinction is.

Mass extinction is usually defined as a loss of about three-quarters of all species in existence across the entire Earth over a short period of time. There have been FIVE mass extinctions in total, wiping out many species. From the Permian extinction that wiped out more than 95% of life on earth, to the KT extinction that wiped out the dinosaurs. For the last 3.5 billion or so years, about 99 percent of the estimated 4 billion species that ever evolved are no longer around. We are currently in the midst of the SIXTH mass extinction.

More than 500 land species are on the brink of extinction and are likely to be lost in less than 20 years. Without human intervention, the rate of loss would’ve taken thousands of years, but humans sure do like fast-paced life.

Check out my blog about '6th Mass Extinction' and 'Species in Threat' today
Eclipse collection includes 12 species we may lose in this 6th mass extinction if necessary changes are not made.
Just like in the process of an eclipse, darkness obscures the light, our selfish deeds are eclipsing the species.

One in four mammals, one in eight birds, one-third of all amphibians is marked endangered. My goal with eclipse collection is to educate people about the threats we (in)directly imposing, eclipsing the population and forcing it to fall drastically.
